Joel Martinez

Joel Martinez has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on sales and relationship management. Joel is currently working as a Sales Director for Intermediaries in the US Offshore market at Compass, where they are responsible for managing relationships for offshore client segments in multiple states. Prior to this, Joel held various roles at BlackRock, including Head of Offshore Wealth Sales Desk and Senior Wholesaler. Joel also worked at Standard Chartered Bank, ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs, where they gained experience in credit markets, debt origination, corporate finance, and structured finance. Joel has a strong track record of building and scaling coverage, coordinating product launches, and developing sales strategies.

Joel Martinez earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley. Joel later pursued a Master's degree in Economic Analysis of Development from Princeton University.
