Pete Peterson

Pete Peterson is currently the General Counsel at CGI Communications. Prior to this, they were the President of Peterson Realty Development, LLC from May 2003 to July 2005. There, they purchased, subdivided, and developed tracts of land into pristine, buildable lots on Cape Cod, Massachusetts while granting a substantive portion of each development to conservation. Pete sold all properties at the height of the real estate boom and retired from business before the crash. From January 2000 to December 2009, they were the owner principal of The Peterson Law Firm, PC, a general practice law firm with an emphasis on handling real estate closings for an international condominium development company. From October 1991 to December 1999, they were the President/Owner of Peterson & Scannell, PC, a general practice law firm with offices in Hyannis, Taunton, New Bedford and Fall River, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to that, they were the Chief Litigation Counsel at the Law Offices Robert T. Karns, Inc. from November 1987 to October 1991.

After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, Pete Peterson attended Suffolk University Law School and earned a Doctor of Law.
