Robert Festinger

Robert Festinger serves as the Senior Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Asset Management at CGI Merchant Group since May 2021, overseeing the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, a luxury facility featuring 263 rooms and extensive meeting space. Previously, Robert was the Vice President of Hotel Operations at Crescent Heights, where responsibilities included managing sales, marketing, human resources, and operations for a portfolio of 1,000 hotel rooms with annual revenues of $100 million. Robert's career also includes roles as Vice President and General Manager at Mondrian South Beach Hotel, General Manager for a downtown Miami hotel under Destination Hotels, and Chief Operating Officer/General Manager at The Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, which featured 350 rooms and various amenities. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Hofstra University.
