Barnaby Shirnia

Barnaby Shirnia is a Senior Simulation Modelling Software Engineer at CGI, drawing on a strong background in Aerospace Systems Engineering and Deep Reinforcement Learning. Previously, Barnaby served as a Performance and Modelling Systems Engineer at MBDA and co-founded Aquila Aerospace, where innovative AI techniques were applied to autonomous flight systems. Barnaby also has experience leading a DevOps management team for the Galileo Security Facility and has lectured at the University of the West of England, sharing knowledge with the next generation of aerospace engineers. Barnaby holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Systems Engineering from the University of the West of England.
