Byron Blunk

Byron Blunk serves as the Vice President and Consulting Expert for CGI, leading technical strategy within the US Global Technology Operations Business Unit since November 2018. Prior to CGI, Blunk was the President of OGC Consulting, overseeing operations in oil and gas accounting from August 2017 to November 2018. Between October 2015 and August 2017, Blunk held the position of Director of Software Strategy in the Office of the CTO at Dell EMC, where responsibilities included leading software engineering teams and establishing cross-business-unit governance. Earlier experience includes serving as a Principal Service Engineer at Microsoft from July 2005 to September 2015, where significant accomplishments included the architecture and implementation of one of the world's first private clouds. Byron Blunk holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science from Stanford University.
