Darin Powell

Darin Powell is a seasoned IT professional with significant experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Director at CGI since 2017, Darin leads the operations team responsible for the successful delivery of IT operations and high availability within a newly developed hybrid cloud environment, notably managing the migration of over 900 AWS workloads and approximately 50 complex USAID applications. Prior to CGI, Darin held the position of Director of Engineering and Project Portfolio Management for TSA ITIP at CSRA Inc from 2006 to 2017, overseeing a team of over 200 IT specialists to deliver strategic solutions for the TSA across more than 450 global airports. Darin's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree in Engineering Management from National University, and a Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification from California State University - East Bay.
