Dirk De Groot

In March 2022, after serving several years as business unit leader in the Netherlands, Dirk de Groot was appointed President of CGI’s Northwest and Central-East Europe operations. He leads a multinational team of professionals and consultants who bring the best of CGI to clients across six European countries.

Dirk has more than 20 years of experience in the IT services industry. He joined CGI in 2012 through its merger with Logica and has held various senior management and advisory roles. Prior to his business unit leader position, Dirk led CGI's transport, post and logistics sector within the Netherlands.

Dirk is well regarded as a transformational leader within CGI and the industry. As CGI’s leader in the Netherlands, he led his team to a successful and sustainable return to profitable organic growth. In 2021, Dirk received a CGI Builders Award for his contribution to the growth and success of the company.

He holds a degree in Logistics and Technical Transport Engineering.
