Edgar Salinas

Edgar Salinas is an experienced Security Operations Specialist currently at CGI, having joined the company in January 2023 after serving as a Senior SOC Analyst and SOC Analyst. Prior experience includes a role as a Cyber Security Analyst at CyberNow Labs, where responsibilities included threat containment and incident response, as well as analysis of Packet Capture and other digital indicators using OSINT tools. Prior to his cybersecurity roles, Edgar spent over a decade at the Heartland National Tuberculosis Center, where responsibilities ranged from designing and maintaining the organizational website to ensuring compliance with accessibility and health guidelines. Edgar's early career includes experience as a Marketing Coordinator and Web Master at The University of Texas at San Antonio's Campus Recreation. Edgar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from The University of Texas at San Antonio, earned in 2010.
