James B. Peake

James B. Peake, MD, LTG (Ret) has an extensive background in healthcare leadership and management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at CGI Federal since January 2010, Peake previously held significant positions including Secretary of Veterans Affairs from 2007 to 2009, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer at QTC Management from November 2006 to December 2007, and Executive Vice President at Project HOPE from December 2004 to November 2006. Peake also served as The Surgeon General of the United States Army from 2000 to 2004. Academic credentials include an MD from Cornell University Medical College (1972) and a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point (1966).
