James Butler

James Butler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Director at CGI Federal since August 1988, James also held director positions at TechAmerica Defense Committee from 2011 to 2015 and served as a Captain in the US Navy from 1978 to 2008. Previous to these roles, James was a Senior Principal at AMS from 1987 to 2004. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School (1986-1988), an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (1978-1979), and a B.S. in Naval Architecture from the United States Naval Academy (1974-1978). Early education includes attendance at Kecoughtan High School and international schools in Germany and Belgium.
