John Cowen is a Senior Product Designer at CGI, currently focused on designing a regulated aviation weather briefing tool. With over a decade of experience, they have worked across fast-paced SaaS startups and regulated sectors, often as the sole designer. Previously, Cowen held roles such as Head of Design at Funeral Guide and Product Designer at HoxtonAi, where they led design initiatives and drove innovation in customer-centric solutions. They hold a BA Hons in Fine Art from UCE and have a growing interest in sustainable design practices. Cowen is passionate about creating intuitive, impactful user experiences and enjoys tackling complex design challenges.
