Jori Karppinen is a seasoned Solution Architect and Team Lead with extensive experience in software development and project management. They served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Oulu from 2010 to 2012, focusing on Real-Time Distributed Software Development while also acting as Product Owner for student-led Intelligent Pill projects. Their role as R&D Manager at Cloudasset from 2015 to 2017 involved the design of sophisticated web app and Big Data architectures for digital payment services in Asia. Currently, Jori is a Technical Architect and Team Lead at CGI, where they manage DevOps infrastructures for an insurance system project. They are also pursuing a Master of Engineering at Oulu University of Applied Sciences, with graduation expected in December 2024.
