José María Botana

José María Botana has over 27 years of experience in information technology with a strong focus on financial services, particularly in the insurance sector. Botana served as Director of Consulting Services at Grupo CMC from January 2018 to November 2021 and currently holds the same position at CGI since December 2021. Prior to these roles, Botana spent 27 years at Accenture, progressing through several positions including Senior Manager and Delivery Lead, managing multiple projects, overseeing client portfolios, and ensuring quality in service delivery. Botana holds a Diplomatura in Empresas y Actividades Turísticas from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, completed between 1987 and 1990.
