José Pratas

José Pratas serves as the Head of Strategic Offering, Innovation and Partnerships at CGI, where responsibilities include driving future growth through strategic offerings, innovation, and partnerships. With a broad background in leadership roles, José has also led the Communications, Transport, and Industry sectors, as well as Financial Services and Telco industries, defining strategies and ensuring execution. Additional roles include being the Country Manager for CGI Portugal and Director of delivery management in telecommunications. Since February 2024, José has been an Invited Lecturer at Universidade Lusófona and has also taken roles as an Associated Researcher at INOV and Invited Lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, focusing on Digital Transformation, Innovation Management, Information Security, and Forensic Analysis. José holds a PhD in Information Science and Technology from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, expected to complete in September 2027.
