Mark Flugge

Mark Flugge serves as the ESG Lead at CGI Federal since March 2022, focusing on initiatives related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Sustainability Reporting. Previously, Mark held the position of Sustainability Lead, overseeing sustainable practices within the organization. Prior experience includes a managerial role at ICF from November 2007 to February 2017, where responsibilities included measuring, reporting, and verifying national greenhouse gas emissions, as well as providing technical support on various environmental projects. Mark also worked as a Senior Associate engaged in policy analysis at ICF and conducted policy analysis at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change. From February 2017 to March 2022, Mark operated as an Independent Consultant for the World Bank Group and UNFCCC Secretariat, focusing on climate change and sustainability issues. Mark holds a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in Atmospheric Chemistry and a Master in Chemistry (M.Chem.) from the University of Oxford.
