Mark van Engelen

Mark van Engelen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and sustainability. In the role of Vice President of Emerging Technology at CGI since October 2017, Mark has contributed significantly as an Enterprise Architect, guiding various industries in their transition to mobile, cloud, big data and analytics, and blockchain solutions. As the Owner of Nya Sustainability Consulting since January 2014, Mark has focused on enabling businesses to achieve sustainability while educating the public on environmental issues. Prior experience includes lead IT positions at Shell, where Mark managed global IT architecture and strategic initiatives for trading and supply systems, alongside responsibilities in project management and operational transformations across multiple countries. Mark holds an Environmental Management Certificate from the University of Calgary and an Engineer's degree in IT & Business from Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag.
