Matthew Kayatin is a Chemical and Environmental Control Systems Engineer currently supporting NASA's Moon to Mars Strategy. They have extensive experience as a Lead Aerospace Engineer at NASA, where they led various teams focused on air revitalization, trace contaminant control, and environmental quality analysis. Previously, Matthew was a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Auburn University, developing polymer-based solutions for chemical applications. Currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Auburn University, they also hold a BS and MS in the same field from West Virginia University and Auburn University, respectively. Matthew is presently a Senior Consultant at CGI, specializing in contaminant control systems for NASA.
