Matthew Stephen

Matthew Stephen is an experienced professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently working as a Climate Consultant at CGI since April 2024. Previously served as an ESG Analyst at C&C Group from June 2023 to March 2024, where responsibilities included managing carbon accounting and a supplier engagement project focused on reducing emissions in the supply chain. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions as a Sustainability & Carbon Reporting Analyst and Associate Sustainability Consultant at Mitie Plan Zero from May 2022 to June 2023, and gained experience as a Crew Member at Five Guys Enterprises from September 2018 to September 2021, as well as a Student Intern at Scottish Woodlands Ltd in June 2018. Matthew's academic background includes a Master's degree in International Energy Studies and Energy Economics with Distinction from CEPMLP, University of Dundee, and a Master of Arts in Environmental Sustainability and Geography from the same institution, achieving a 2:1. Formal education was completed at George Watson's College from 2010 to 2016.
