Melissa Walker

Melissa Walker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and project management, currently serving as a Senior Consultant - Test and Release Lead at CGI since February 2016. In this role, Melissa implements improvements for enhanced end-user system experiences while coordinating release activities across multiple teams to ensure successful deployments. Previous roles at CGI include leading the PMO, BA, and RM teams, and managing the implementation of internal controls for a federal client. Prior to CGI, Melissa worked at Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Senior Business Analyst, overseeing the financial aspects of multiple programs, and served as a Contract Manager at Verizon, managing a team and ensuring quality control over significant monthly commissions. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology, both from Virginia Tech.
