Murali Kathari

Murali Kathari is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience at CGI, where positions have included Manager Consulting Expert and StateRAMP IaaS Security Lead since March 2003. Murali has a diverse background in information security management, incident response, and data protection, having worked with major healthcare and financial clients to develop security policies, evaluate security frameworks, and implement compliance measures including GDPR. Prior roles as a consultant involved managing vulnerability assessments, security exception requests, data classification programs, and mentoring in CISSP certification training. Murali's earlier career includes positions as a Network Administrator and Systems Engineer, complemented by a strong educational foundation including a CISO Executive Program from New York University and a master’s degree from Sri Venkateswara University.
