Paulo Carmo

Paulo Carmo is an experienced professional with a robust background in engineering, project management, and service management, particularly within the Earth observation and space sectors. Currently serving as an Executive Consultant at CGI since September 2022, Paulo is involved in project management and commercial support within the Space department. Previous roles include Earth Observation Data Services Engineer at Innoflair, where responsibility included managing the EUMETSAT Data Tailor, and extensive contributions at Solenix, where Paulo held multiple positions including Service Level Manager for the EUMETSAT LEO Planning Service and System Planner for the EPS-SG Programme. Paulo's career also encompasses significant roles at Edisoft and earlier positions at Indra and Siemens, focusing on software engineering and project management. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree and a Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculdade de ciências e tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa.
