Roman Kobelak

Roman Kobelak, PEng BASc, has extensive experience in technology and architecture, beginning as a System Analyst/Technical Team Lead at Bell Canada from 1993 to 1998, where contributions included the development of an innovative operational solution. As a Senior Technical Consultant at CGI Inc from 1998 to 2000, Roman led successful implementations of e-Commerce solutions and fostered EAI solutions. Roman served as Sr Manager of Enterprise Architecture at Allstream from 2000 to 2007, overseeing the delivery of critical architecture strategies and managing a diverse architecture team. From 2008 to 2016, Roman worked as an Architecture Strategist in R&D at MTS Allstream, leading innovation cycles and strategic transformation programs. Following that role, Roman was the R&D Practice Lead at Zayo Group from 2016 to 2019, delivering significant tax credits and successfully defending SR&ED claims. Currently, Roman is the Director Consulting Expert at CGI, providing senior technical leadership for major Canadian Telco systems. Roman holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, specializing in Network Engineering and Control Systems.
