Ron Guthrie

Ron Guthrie is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network architecture and administration. Currently serving as a Network Architect at CGI since October 2016, Ron has honed expertise in developing and supporting IT systems. Prior to this role, Ron was a Network Officer at Scottish Borders Council from October 2011 to October 2016 and worked as an IT Systems Infrastructure Analyst at Portakabin Limited from February 1996 to October 2011, contributing to core IT systems across multiple regions. Earlier experience includes serving as a Network Administrator and part-time lecturer at Borders College, where responsibilities included managing a Local Area Network. Ron holds a BSc in Manufacturing Computing from Heriot-Watt University, completed in 1994.
