Rune Thorland is a Software Architect at CGI and has been actively involved in the field since completing a degree in Informatikk from the University of Stavanger in 1996. They held the position of Software Developer at Infosynergi from 1997 to 2001, then served as a Software Architect at Atos Origin and Logica Norge AS between 2004 and 2012. After a tenure as Nestleder with IT Forbundet ved Logica Norge from 2006 to 2011, they transitioned to their current roles at IT forbundet CGI as Leder and as a European Works Council representative since 2011.
