Zerihun Bekele

Zerihun Bekele, PhD, is a passionate data scientist with a strong background in tackling multidisciplinary real-world problems through creative problem-solving and technical skills. They hold a PhD in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with a graduate certificate in Data Science. Zerihun's experience includes roles as a Senior Data Scientist at CGI and AAA Life Insurance Company, where they built and maintained machine learning models and pipelines. Previously, they worked as a Data Scientist at Wacker Chemical Corporation and BASF, focusing on predictive modeling and innovative research. Zerihun's career also includes engineering roles and academic experience as a lecturer at the Addis Ababa Institute of Technology.
