CGS Architects was founded in Georgetown in 1981 to provide services in master planning, architecture and interior design. For over 30 years our firm has worked in the Washington DC area to create architecture and interiors of exceptional quality, winning over 100 national and regional design awards. With each project we strive to build long-term relationships with our clients by delivering outstanding technical and aesthetic services.

Our design process is guided by the following core principles:

- Listen carefully to understand and reflect our client’s culture.
- Respond to the unique context of each program.
- Engage the client and other key stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Embrace environmental stewardship through sustainable design.
- Commit principal leadership to all phases of the project.
