Joel Meriwether

Joel Meriwether has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as an Appeals Analyst at CGS since January 2006. In this role, Joel has held three positions, including Medicare Research Representative for DMERC Region D, File Preparation Clerk for the Qualified Independent Contractor (QIC) program for Medicare Part B, and Appeals and Redetermination Analyst for Medicare, DME MAC Region C. Prior to this, Joel worked as a Staffing Coordinator at Favorite Nurses from December 2004 to January 2006, overseeing the interview and recruitment process and managing staffing requests from medical facilities. Joel holds a Master of Arts in English and Theatre from the University of Delaware, completed in 1991, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Communications and English from Lipscomb University, earned in 1989.
