Daniel Magnusson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1995, they worked for City stormarknad as a Salesman before moving up to Deputy Store Manager. Daniel then joined Syntronic AB in 2004 as an Account Manager, handling sales and business development for complex projects. In 2006, they joined Sandvik Materials Technology as a Global Product Manager and later worked on business development for new market segments. From 2009 to 2016, Daniel worked at Sandvik Hyperion, initially as a Marketing & Sales Manager and later as a Global Strategic Customer Manager. Daniel then joined Sandvik Coromant in 2016, where they held various roles such as Lead of Strategic Sales and Commercial Projects, Business Development Manager, and Director of Digital Machining Sales Europe. Currently, Daniel Magnusson is the Vice President of Commercial Business at CGTech, starting in 2022.
Daniel Magnusson completed their MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002. In 2001, they also attended Stockholm University and studied Finance, although they did not obtain a degree there. As part of an Erasmus exchange program, they studied at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2000 to 2001.
In 2011, Daniel attended IFL Executive education at Stockholm School of Economics for the International Management Program, specializing in Organizational Leadership.
