In 2026, the Chilean International Contemporary Art Fair, Ch.ACO, celebrates its 16th edition, consolidating its position as one of the most significant cultural platforms in Chile and Latin America. This new edition marks a turning point in the fair’s history, projecting it toward greater scale, international reach, and institutional maturity.

Ch.ACO-16 will take place from March 25 to 29, 2026, at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention & Event Center in Vitacura, one of Chile’s leading convention venues. The change of location responds to the fair’s sustained growth and to the need for a space that matches the complexity of its program and the diversity of audiences it brings together.

Over more than fifteen years, Ch.ACO has evolved and redefined itself, understanding that contemporary art is not limited to artworks, artists, or galleries, but is activated through the questions that arise in front of them. The fair has established itself as a laboratory of ideas, a space for critical reflection, and a driver of cultural transformation that encourages exchange among different actors in the artistic field and strengthens the creative industry in Chile and the region.

Ch.ACO is also a project of cultural diplomacy, fostering international dialogue and strategic alliances. In this edition, the fair collaborates with the embassies of the Dominican Republic, Canada, Argentina, Denmark, and Italy, and welcomes professionals from leading international museums such as the Denver Art Museum, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Guggenheim, and the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI).

The fair will bring together more than 40 exhibitors from 10 countries, including national and international galleries, gallery associations, and independent projects. It will also highlight the work of over 200 artists, both established and emerging, whose practices contribute to redefining the contemporary cultural landscape.
