Jim Aitken

Jim Aitken is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in bridge design and project management. Currently serving as the Project Team Leader at CHA Consulting, Inc. since April 2016, Jim oversees the execution of high-quality projects in the Southeast region, managing both technical staff and project managers across multiple states. Prior to CHA, Jim held significant roles at HNTB, including Associate Vice President and Senior Project Manager, as well as Assistant Department Manager for Bridge Design. Jim also managed the Structures Department at ARCADIS U.S., Inc., and worked as a structural engineer at WSA, Tetra Tech EMI, Rizzo Associates, and GPI. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
