Michael Cass

Michael Cass has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as a Math Teacher at Chadwick School since June 2000. In addition to teaching, Michael also coaches boys volleyball, instructs improv, participates on the student wellness committee, and serves as an advisor for junior and senior students as well as on the admissions committee. Prior to this role, Michael was the Lead Math Instructor at St. Joseph Elementary School from August 1998 to June 2000, where responsibilities included teaching grades 5-8 and supporting lower grade teachers with math instruction. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Johns Hopkins CTY Summer School Program from 1988 to 1990, specializing in geometry. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Pomona College, earned from 1988 to 1993, and attended Cate School from 1985 to 1988.
