Nelson Miranda is an experienced educator with a strong background in history and ethnic studies. Currently serving as the Global Studies/Ethnic Studies Teacher and Dean of Faculty at Chadwick School since July 2018, Nelson has previously taught history at PATHWAYS COMMUNITY SCHOOL from July 2017 to June 2018 and at Futures in Education (Halstrom Academy) from July 2015 to June 2018. Earlier experience includes a role as Co-Lead Preschool Teacher at Primrose Schools from June 2013 to July 2015. Nelson holds a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on History from Bard College, and a Bachelor's degree in History from St. Edward's University, complemented by education at Santa Monica College.
