Bas Lemmens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bas is currently the SVP & GM International at Chainalysis Inc., where they lead the company's growth and operations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and APAC regions. In this role, they develop and executes go-to-market strategies, builds and manages high-performing teams, and strengthens relationships with government agencies, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.

Prior to Chainalysis, Bas served as the VP Sales & GM EMEA TANZU at VMware, where they were responsible for sales and general management in the EMEA region from January 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they held various leadership positions at Pivotal Software, Inc., including Vice President and General Manager EMEA, Snr. Director DACH+BENELUX, and Country Manager NL.

Bas also has experience at Smart Capital Network (SCN) b.v., where they served as the Managing Director and a Member of the Advisory Board. Bas was responsible for investing in young Dutch companies with market-ready innovations and game-changing potential. Additionally, Bas took a self-directed sabbatical from 2008 to 2010, during which they traveled internationally and pursued their hobbies.

Earlier in their career, Bas worked at Acision as the General Manager - Europe, Russia & Africa, leading the business in achieving sales and profit growth targets. Bas also held leadership roles at LogicaCMG, including Senior Vice President Sales - Europe, Russia & Africa, and Managing Director - Italy. Prior to that, they worked at CMG as an Associate Director, managing the Telecoms team.

Bas started their career in the Royal Netherlands Airforce as the Head of Communication and Information Systems. Overall, Bas Lemmens has gained extensive experience in sales, general management, and international operations across various industries.

Bas Lemmens attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a degree in Information Technology. Following this, they pursued further education at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 1991 to 1993, earning a degree in Computer Science.
