Daniel Scott has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and infrastructure development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Chainalysis since June 2022, Daniel previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer. Prior roles include Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Vyntelligence and Systems Engineer at Policy Expert, where contributions included integrating microservice applications with AWS infrastructure and implementing development processes such as infrastructure as code and continuous deployment. Daniel’s early career includes extensive research work at MIT, where efforts focused on the MIMIC-II database, as well as roles in software development, design engineering, and bespoke software solutions across various companies. Daniel holds a PhD in Chemistry from UCL and an MPhys in Physics from the University of Bath.
