John Green

John Green is a seasoned professional in the field of IT security and research, currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Chainalysis Inc. since January 2017. Prior experience includes roles such as Deputy Manager of JANET CSIRT and Senior Consultant at NCC Group. John has also held positions as a GridPP Security Officer and IT Security Team Leader for the UK Ministry of Defence. Their career includes significant roles such as Systems Administrator at Nominet UK and Incident Responder for both the UK Ministry of Defence and JANET(UK). John began their career as a Research Scientist at the Met Office. Academic qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Warwick University, earned between 1995 and 1998.
