After leaving Apple in 2018, Mitchell worked as a Brand Ambassador at Chewy, where they communicated with partnered brands and educated the sales staff about product changes. In 2019, they became a full-time student at Southern New Hampshire University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity in 2022.

In 2021, Mitchell worked as a self-employed Social Media Manager, handling engagement, moderation, and content posting across various platforms.
