Lawrence Xia

Lawrence Xia currently serves as the Director of Engineering for the Developer Platform & Economics at Chainlink Labs, with a rich background in software engineering and team management. In roles ranging from Senior Engineering Manager to Engineering Manager, Lawrence has made significant contributions in R&D for smart contracts and decentralized applications, as well as leading the integration of Chainlink into various blockchain ecosystems. Prior to Chainlink Labs, Lawrence spent nearly seven years at Riot Games, where responsibilities included managing teams for a centralized multi-game data warehouse and serving in various engineering roles, utilizing technologies such as Python, AWS, and SQL. Lawrence co-founded Adelie Online and gained research experience at Draper Laboratory, focusing on lung tissue constructs and viral diversity. Educational background includes a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management from Tufts University.
