Gregory Markou

Gregory Markou is an experienced technology professional and educator with a robust background in blockchain development and software engineering. As a Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at ChainSafe Systems since September 2017, Gregory has also held roles as Chief Technology Officer, VP Engineering, and Head of Development. Prior to that, Gregory co-founded BORO and served as Chief Technology Officer, focusing on software development. Additional experience includes teaching blockchain development as a Part-Time Professor at George Brown College and instructing at The BlockchainHub. Earlier roles include Lead Web Developer at Bookm and Liquor Runner at Pinnacle Caterers. Gregory holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto.
