Andy Shaffer

Andy Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andy currently works as a Lead UX Designer at ChaiOne, where they started in June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Sr. UX Design Consultant at the same company from November 2021 to June 2022. Before joining ChaiOne, Andy worked at C.R. England as a Sr. Interaction Designer from July 2018 to November 2021.

In addition to their design roles, Andy has also worked as a Creative Director & Consultant at Shaffer Creative Works from January 2002 to December 2020. Andy gained experience as a Snowboard Instructor at Brighton Resort from October 2007 to April 2019 and at Mad River Mountain from January 2000 to March 2005.

Andy's experience also includes roles in the media industry. Andy worked as a Sr. Creative Designer at Sorenson Media from May 2015 to May 2018, and as a Creative Designer from August 2014 to May 2015. Additionally, they have worked as a Communications Designer & Coach at Salt Lake City School District from July 2007 to July 2014, where they directed and designed communications for the district and led a team of over 300 editors.

Early in their career, Andy worked as a Graphic/Web Designer at Business Technical Consulting, LLC. from August 2001 to July 2007.

Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Dual Major in eCommerce & Information Systems/Operations Management at The University of Toledo between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they graduated from Sidney High School in 1999, but the degree obtained and field of study are unknown.
