Chris Mason

Chris Mason has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Chris started their career in 1990 as a Programmer/Analyst at El Paso Natural Gas Company, where they worked on the development and maintenance of their gas accounting system. From 1992 to 1996, they served as a System Administrator at Golden Triangle Federal Credit Union, providing hardware, software, and network support.

In 1996, Chris joined GC Services Limited Partnership as a Student Intern Programmer, where they developed and maintained collection system software and integrated it with legacy mainframe applications. Chris then moved on to TeleCheck, Inc. in 1997 as a Senior Software Developer, working on the development of an imaging and mapping system. Chris also developed an electronic check collection system, reducing check clearing time.

Chris's career in web development started in 1999 when they joined Red Sky Interactive as a Senior Java Developer, designing and developing a complex security model for an international semiconductor consortium. At Intechtual, Inc., from 2000 to 2005, they created a wireless mail application and a web-based asset tracking system for major wireless telecommunications companies.

From 2005 to 2006, Chris worked independently as an Independent Contractor for Movero Technology, where they designed and developed an e-commerce website and an asset tracking system. Chris then joined CAP5 Technology Solutions in 2006 as a Lead Developer, where they mentored a small team of developers and worked on an issue tracking system and a web application for a ticket brokerage firm.

Chris's most recent role was at ChaiOne, where they have been working since 2010. Chris started as a Lead Developer and later became a Software Architect. In this role, they consult with client stakeholders, designs technical solutions, provides leadership and mentorship to the engineering group.
