In 2021, Thiel co-founded WEALTHAWK, a company that uses proprietary algorithms to help financial advisors acquire new clients. Paul has also held positions at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, Second Chance Beer Co., Chairmen's RoundTable, Dallmann Confections, BNY Mellon, AllianceBernstein, and McClain Media & Marketing LLC. Paul'sroles in these companies involved leadership, advisory, and consulting responsibilities.
Paul Thiel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism Management from the University of Connecticut in 1986. Paul further pursued their education at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on General Management and Artificial Intelligence in Marketing. In 2000, they completed an Executive Program in Leadership with a concentration in Strategic Change Management & Transformation at Stanford University. Additionally, they completed an Executive Education program in Marketing & Communication at Northwestern University in 2000. Paul Thiel also undertook Executive Education in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2020. In 2012, they obtained certification as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.
