Chamäleon Berlin stands for contemporary circus like no other venue in Germany. This is an exciting new art form that deliberately blurs the boundaries between different genres, such as acrobatics, dance, music and theatre, in order to create something thrilling and cutting-edge.

In Berlin’s pulsating centre, we have dedicated ourselves to New Circus with great passion and a love of adventure since 2004. Through a clear conceptual approach, we show how wonderfully surprising and different contemporary circus productions can be. We are committed to presenting innovative circus productions from all over the world in a warm, beautiful space where hospitality is our top priority, always aiming to provide our guests with a beautiful, unexpected, thoroughly enriching theatre experience. Those who come to us are looking for the new, unknown and breath-taking. Nothing is unimaginable in this space of creative excellence. Everything seems possible in a world where experimentation and unlimited curiosity form the basis of every creation.

We bring the innovators and creative circus trailblazers of the international circus scene to Berlin and collaborate with circus companies which defy conventions, challenge expectations and, thus, nurture our understanding of what circus is and what circus can be.

Come and visit us in our historic ballroom in the heart of Berlin and get swept away into a world that will captivate you in the first few seconds.
