Steve Sims

Steve Sims has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Steve started their career at Eaton Corporation in 1996 as an Advance Material Purchaser and then became a Six Sigma Black Belt, overseeing projects and mentoring other Belts. Steve later became the Materials Manager, responsible for procurement and planning departments.

In 2006, Steve joined Chambo Industries Ltd. where they worked in various roles. Steve started as a Project Manager and eventually became the Manager of Projects, handling project management, recruitment, and strategic planning. Steve also served as the Director of Sales for the Modular Engineered Systems, leading the Sales and Proposals department.

Currently, Steve holds the position of Manager, Proposal and Applications at Chamco Industries Ltd., where they are responsible for developing proposals and providing real-time solutions to customers in the mining, oil & gas, and energy industry. Steve also manages a team of technical professionals and oversees budget planning and operations.

Steve Sims attended DeVry Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1995, where they earned an Associate degree in Electronics / Electrical. Steve then pursued further education at Six Sigma Breakthrough Technologies SSI from 1997 to 1999, obtaining a Blackbelt degree in 6 Sigma.
