Lawrence Lifson

Lawrence Lifson has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of data and analytics. Lawrence currently holds the position of Head of Data & Analytics at Champion Data since March 2023. Prior to this, Lawrence worked at bp where they held various roles. From January 2021 to February 2023, they served as the Digital Operations & Data Manager, leading a team of 8 data specialists and product managers. Lawrence played a crucial role in modernizing and integrating systems across 7 Asia Pacific markets. Additionally, Lawrence served as the Data Science Manager from January 2021 to November 2021, leading a team of 3 data scientists and driving advanced analytics initiatives. Lawrence proposed a new data and analytics hub operating model to provide analytics capability to all BP ASPAC businesses. Furthermore, Lawrence held the position of Consumer Insights & Analytics Lead from January 2019 to December 2020, where they established the first insights and analytics team within BP Australia. Lastly, they worked as a Pricing Analyst from January 2017 to December 2018, responsible for strategic pricing decisions and building analytical capability within ASPAC. Before bp, Lawrence gained consulting and analyst experience at Accenture from 2012 to 2016.

Lawrence Lifson began their education at Monash University from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued a combined degree program in Civil Engineering and Finance. Lawrence then attended Melbourne Business School in 2016 and completed a Master of Business Analytics degree.
