Mitch Abson

Mitch Abson is an experienced professional in sports operations, currently serving as the Competitions Operations Coordinator and Capture Crew member at Champion Data since April 2015, handling Main and Graphical capture for live AFL matches and coding statistics for Tier 2 competitions. Previously, Mitch worked as a Statistician for the Oakleigh Chargers Football Club from March to September 2014, where responsibilities included coding game day statistics and providing insights to the coaching panel and players. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Business and a Diploma in Sports Development from AFL SportsReady in 2017, as well as a Victorian Certificate of Education from Upwey High School, obtained in 2012.
