Daniel Grant has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daniel started their career as a Platoon Leader in the US Army, where they led a combat arms platoon during a deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom. Daniel then served as a Battery Executive Officer and Battalion Maintenance Officer in the 1-33 FA, 1st Infantry Division, overseeing maintenance and operational activities. After leaving the military, they worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for the State of Illinois, supporting policy issues related to the military and veteran communities. Daniel later became the Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs, leading a state agency with a large budget and overseeing long-term skilled care facilities and veteran service offices. Daniel also worked as a Consultant and Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group, and held various roles at Champion Home Builders, including VP of Sales and Business Development and VP of Business Transformation. Currently, they are a Volunteer Mentor at StreetWise Partners.
Daniel Grant attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations. In 2011, they enrolled at Harvard Business School and completed their studies in 2013, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
