Monique Taylor is currently the Provost & Chief Academic Officer at Champlain College. Prior to their current role, they served as an assistant provost and coordinator of undergraduate education at Alliant International University, a visiting lecturer at Al-Quds University, and an associate professor and assistant professor at Occidental College.
Taylor has dedicated their career to higher education and making sure that all students have access to quality education. Monique is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the classroom and has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for students from all backgrounds.
Taylor is a respected leader in the field of higher education and has received numerous awards and accolades for their work. In 2012, they were named the Outstanding Assistant Provost of the Year by the Association of California Colleges and Universities. In 2010, they were named the outstanding Coordinator of Undergraduate Education by the National Academic Advising Association.
Taylor holds a bachelor's degree in English from Howard University and a master's degree in English from Georgetown University. Monique earned their PhD in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
