Maureen Powers

Maureen Powers, EdD, has extensive experience in education and program management. Currently serving as Faculty in Child and Family Studies and Elementary Teacher Education at Solano Community College and as CEO of Knowledge MPowers, Maureen has a rich background that includes roles as Program Director at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs and Course Developer at Rio Salado College, where innovative courses for Early Childhood Education were designed. Previous experience includes positions as Coordinator for Early Childhood Education at Pendergast Elementary School District 92, Director of Stay N Play Family Child Care, and Supervisor in the Juvenile Justice System. Maureen holds a Doctorate in Leadership from the American College of Education, a Master's in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor's in Psychology and Teacher Certification from Beloit College.
