Jade Bécus

Jade B. is currently an Orientation Leader at Swarthmore College, providing support to new students through campus tours and academic guidance, while also addressing inquiries effectively. Jade holds dual roles as a Writing Associate for Lisa Blunt Rochester and an Intern for Democracy Summer, both beginning in June 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Fellow at Pho Viet and a Waitress & Team Leader at Youth Be Heard, where contributions were made on the Youth Advisory Board. Additional involvement includes being a Civic Innovation Fellow with Civics Unplugged and serving as Director of Finance and Sponsorships for The Asian Articles, where financial management and sponsorship acquisition were key responsibilities. Jade is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Political Science and French Studies at Swarthmore College, with a previous education at Caesar Rodney High School.
