John Whang

John Whang is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at CHANEL since July 2015, Whang has previously held the CFO position at AstraZeneca from July 2013 to July 2015. Additional roles include Vice President of Finance at SK Networks, Walkerhill and multiple positions at Diageo, where responsibilities ranged from Regional Pricing Director to Finance Director, covering both Asia Pacific and Japan. Whang's career began at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior, followed by an Audit Supervisor role at Fluor Corp. An alumnus of the University of Leeds, Whang is also certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
